FUNDING OF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
Funding of Catholic Schools by the State Government
State Government support of students in Catholic schools is
inadequate and needs addressing. The difference in funding by State Governments
in NSW and Victoria is highlighted below:
The NSW Government contributes an average of $1,412
per student in Catholic schools.
The Victorian Government contributes an average $1,093
per student in Catholic schools.
