COLLEGE ICONS - MATER FIDELIS
Mater Fidelis (Mother of Faith) is proudly displayed in the
College reception area. A bronze sculpture by renowned artist, Leopoldine
Mimovich, Mater Fidelis was purchased by the College through donations which
were provided at the time of the 40th anniversary (2004).
This beautiful sculpture reminds us that St Monica is one of
the patron saints of mothers and that through her prayer and perseverance she
shows us both the power and importance of faith – in God and in our fellow human
beings.
