UNIFORM

GIRL'S UNIFORM (Summer)

• Glamorgan fabric blue/white striped dress in polyester/cotton, buttoned to neck, raglan sleeve, front pleat, action back, side pocket with zip.
• Plain white socks (below the knee). No short tennis style anklet socks.
• Black lace-up school shoes, e.g. 'Bata Blues' without silver or any colour eyelets and without platform soles, or raised heels.
• Blue scoop-necked jumper, embroidered "ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE".
• Pure wool, lined blazer with College emblem on pocket.
• V.C.E. students may wear the jumper embroidered "V.C.E. ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE".
• ALL girls' dresses and skirts are to be worn at least 4cm below the knee.

GIRLS' UNIFORM (Winter)

• Regulation wool blend St. Monica's skirt, in blue, grey & gold check.
• White, long-sleeved, peter-pan collar school shirt, buttoned to the neck.
• Blue scoop-necked jumper, embroidered "ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE."
• Grey tights (Burlon Cotton Blend. Style 1035/ Colour- Grey)
• Black lace-up school shoes, e.g. 'Bata Blues' (as Summer Uniform)
• College blazer
• College scarf and grey gloves (optional). No other scarf is permitted.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM (All students)

• Regulation track pants, with the College emblem
• Regulation track top embroidered "ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE".
• Blue polo sport shirt with College emblem and striped collar.
• Plain white sport socks. No short tennis style anklet socks.
• White or black sport shoes with non-marking soles.
• Shorts (if worn) - regulation royal blue sports shorts with College emblem.
• College Cap.

BOYS' UNIFORM (Summer)

• White peaked collar regulation shirt (Fairmark or Midford), long or short-sleeved.
• Regulation mid-grey school trousers.
• Blue scoop-necked jumper, embroidered "ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE"
• Plain black lace-up school shoes without silver or any colour eyelets.
• Grey or black socks only.
• Pure wool, lined blazer with College emblem on pocket.
• College Tie.
• Optional - grey shorts and grey long socks.
• V.C.E. students may wear the jumper embroidered "V.C.E. ST. MONICA'S COLLEGE".

BOYS' UNIFORM (Winter):

• College scarf and grey gloves (optional). No other scarf is permitted.

ALL STUDENTS

• Only regulation items of uniform purchased from the authorised College supplier or the College second-hand Uniform Shop may be worn at school.
• Students must have a blue St. Monica's College school bag, back pack or carry style.
• Make-up and nail polish may not be worn to school.
• Jewellery is worn at owner's own risk. Students are permitted to wear one earring, stud or sleeper only in each ear (drop earrings are not permitted for safety reasons); a watch; religious medal on a chain. No other jewellery is permitted.
• College Cap is compulsory for Years 7-10 students and is the only approved headgear for older students.
• College Pin is to be worn by all students on the College blazer.
• White laboratory coats are to be worn by Science students.
• Students must ensure their hair is neat and tidy at all times. Male students must ensure hair is no longer than the top of their shirt collar. No male student may tie hair back. No student may braid his/her hair. Female students must tie their hair up or back, using blue/gold accessories only.
• For outdoor activities, students are advised to use a sunscreen and wear the College Cap.
• All items of uniform and other possessions must be clearly named.
• The College blazer is the only outer garment permitted for all students and must be worn to and from the College daily.
• Jumpers are not to be tied around the waist at any time.
• Sports uniform is to be worn only on days when students have P.E. or sports lessons. Tracksuit pants must be worn to and from school and shorts must not be worn to and from school.
• Full school uniform is to be worn by all students every day. In exceptional circumstances, if a part of the uniform cannot be worn, the appropriate Campus Director must be notified.
• Summer Uniform is worn in Terms 1 & 4, Winter Uniform in Terms 2 & 3.
