CO-LEADER OF COUNSELLING TEAM

St Monica’s College is renowned for its work with young people, achieving recognition and accreditation in various areas. The College is an accredited Restorative Practices school and is committed to promoting and addressing the wellbeing needs of young people within a school setting.

We seek a full-time permanent School Psychologist to co-lead the College Counselling Team.

This co-leadership position has the possibility of becoming a sole leader position in 2020. Starting date and salary are negotiable.

Essential requirements:

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Significant experience working within an educational setting, providing therapeutic intervention and educational assessments
  • Experience in providing supervision and managing a counselling team
  • Ability to lead, develop, enhance and facilitate wellbeing practices within a College context.

College Psychologists/Counsellors work from a whole-school wellbeing approach and in addition to therapeutic intervention/counselling are involved in enhancing student wellbeing through a variety of ways.
