We are a leading Catholic secondary coeducational College (Years 7 – 12) serving the northern region of Melbourne. We have an enrolment of 1970 students with anticipated growth in future years. The College is located on two spacious campuses in Epping and a picturesque rural Campus, Ostia, in Strath Creek. Extensive new teaching and learning buildings have recently been constructed. The College offers a diverse and rich curriculum.

FACULTY LEADERS

With the internal promotion of the incumbents, the College now seeks to appoint full time:

  • Faculty Leader of English
  • Faculty Leader of Mathematics

Criteria

  • Support the College’s Mission Statement
  • Promote collegiality and open dialogue with staff
  • Implement the College’s strategic objectives and educational vision
  • Demonstrate past experience in the area of leadership, and articulate a vision for the Faculty in the Curriculum
  • Understand the meaning of Servant Leadership.

This appointment to Faculty Leader is for the period 2020 – 2022. The position currently is at a POL4 level. Performance reviews will be held at various intervals.

An ongoing teaching appointment to the College Staff is attached to this position.

The successful candidate will be VIT registered and must have a passion for Teaching and Learning and be innovative and engaging in both teaching and leadership.

LEADER OF COUNSELLING TEAM

A Catholic co-educational College (Years 7 – 12) with an anticipated enrolment of 2000 students in 2020. The College is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne with two campuses in Epping and a rural campus, Ostia, in Strath Creek for spiritual retreat.

St Monica’s College is renowned for its work with young people, achieving recognition and accreditation in various areas. The College is an accredited Restorative Practices school and is committed to promoting and addressing the wellbeing needs of young people within a school setting.

We seek a full-time permanent School Psychologist/Counsellor to lead the College Counselling Team. This position commences Tuesday, 28 January 2020. Salary is negotiable.

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Significant experience working within an educational setting, providing therapeutic intervention and educational assessments
  • Experience in providing or organising supervision and managing a counselling team
  • Ability to lead, develop, enhance and facilitate wellbeing practices within a College context.
