UNIFORM
St Monica’s College offers several payment options to enable parents to meet their fee obligations.

GIRLS UNIFORM
- Glamorgan fabric blue/white striped dress in polyester/cotton, raglan sleeve, front pleat, action back, side pocket with zip.
- Plain white socks (below the knee). No short tennis style anklet socks.
- Black lace-up school shoes, e.g. ‘Bata Blues’ without silver or any colour eyelets and without platform soles, or raised heels.
- Blue scoop-necked jumper, embroidered with the College emblem.
- Pure wool, lined blazer with College emblem on pocket.
- All girls’ dresses and skirts are to be worn to cover the knee.
- Regulation wool blend St Monica’s skirt worn on or below the knee, in blue, grey and gold check, with grey tights (2TT’s brand – light grey) – no socks permitted.
OR Regulation wool blend St Monica’s trousers, in blue, white and gold stripe, worn with plain navy or black socks. No short tennis style anklet socks. - White, long-sleeved, peter-pan collar school shirt.
- College jumper, blazer and school shoes (as above).
- Grey College scarf, beanie and grey gloves (optional).
- No other items are permitted.
BOYS UNIFORM
- White peaked collar regulation shirt (Fairmark or Midford), long or short-sleeved, buttoned to the neck.
- Regulation mid-grey school trousers.
- Regulation black leather belt with plain buckle.
- Blue scoop-necked jumper, embroidered with College emblem.
- Plain black lace-up school shoes without silver or any colour eyelets.
- Grey or black socks only. No short tennis style anklet socks. All socks must be above the ankle.
- Pure wool, lined blazer with College emblem on pocket.
- College Tie.
- Optional – grey shorts and grey socks.
- AS ABOVE.
- Grey College scarf, beanie and grey gloves (optional).
- No other items are permitted.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM (ALL STUDENTS)
- Regulation track suit with the College emblem embroidered on jacket and pants.
- Blue polo sport shirt with College emblem and striped collar.
- Plain white sport socks. All socks must cover the ankle and be visible above the sports shoes.
- Sport shoes with non-marking soles. Casual canvas shoes and boot style runners may not be worn.
- Shorts (if worn) – regulation royal blue sports shorts with College emblem.
- College Cap.
ALL STUDENTS
- Only regulation items of uniform purchased from the authorised College supplier or the College second-hand Uniform Shop may be worn at school.
- Students must have a blue St Monica’s College school bag.
- Make-up and nail polish may not be worn to school.
- Jewellery is worn at owner’s own risk. Students are permitted to wear one earring, stud or sleeper only in each ear; a watch; religious medal on a chain. No other jewellery is permitted.
- Facial piercing is not permitted.
- Canvas shoes are not permitted.
- College Pin is to be worn by all students on the left lapel of the College blazer.
- White laboratory coats are to be worn by Science students.
- Students must ensure their hair is neat and tidy at all times.
- Male students must ensure hair is no longer than the top of their shirt collar.
- No male student may tie hair back.
- No student may braid his/her hair.
- Female students must tie their hair up or back, using blue or gold accessories only.
- Extreme hair colours and styles are not acceptable, including unnatural hair colours and shaving hair using a blade below a number 2.
- For outdoor activities, students are advised to use a sunscreen and wear the College Cap.
- All items of uniform and other possessions must be clearly named.
- The College blazer is the only outer garment permitted for all students and must be worn to and from the College daily.
- Jumpers are not to be tied around the waist at any time.
- Sports uniform is to be worn only on days when students have P.E. or sports lessons. Full tracksuits must be worn to and from school.
- Students are not permitted to wear skivvies beneath the P.E. polo shirt. Plain white T-shirts only, may be worn under the polo top.
- Track suit pants must not trail on the ground.
- Full school uniform is to be worn by all students every day.
- In exceptional circumstances, if a part of the uniform cannot be worn, the appropriate Year Level Leader must be notified.
