Update 19, 2021 on SMC Response to Coronavirus (COVID – 19)

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Carers,

All of us have come to the end of a very difficult and worrying week.  Throughout this time, the support and appreciation of all members of our school community is valued, thank you.

This communication is being sent to you unlike the others this week that went out to everybody in the school.  You can refer to these by accessing the College website.

Year 12 students will have an opportunity to clear their lockers from Tuesday, 19 October and a booking system is being devised for students to print materials and use College resources from Wednesday, 20 October.

Staff members have been required to provide evidence of their vaccination status and this evidence must be provided to me by Monday, 18 October.  For a staff member who does not provide evidence, I am obliged to contact them and any staff member without evidence of vaccination, or an appointment for vaccination, or medical exemption, will be required to take Long Service Leave or Leave without Pay until 15 December.

The College has received approval to alter the staggered return to on-site learning from Tuesday, 26 October.  This will reduce the total number of students on Dalton Road Campus on a day (for a fortnight).

Remember please, should you have any questions, email them to operations@stmonicas-epping.com

Take extreme care and may all Monicans come through this difficult time with other members of the Victorian community.

Shalom – Anywhere You Go.

Brian Hanley OAM

College Principal
