Dear Parents/Guardians & Carers,

Current Year 7 Students were scheduled to have onsite vaccination for the second dose of HPV vaccine on Tuesday, 26 October 2021. Due to current remote learning, we have postponed this date to Monday, 15 November 2021. Immunisation nurses from The City of Whittlesea will be visiting St Monica’s College, Epping to continue to deliver this service for all eligible and consented students.

Consent cards have already been returned in Term 1.

The Immunisation Nurses will only deliver the HPV vaccine. Any parent that would like their child to have the Covid vaccine as recommended by the Federal Government can do so via booking at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/book-your-vaccine-appointment The Covid Vaccine is NOT available at the College during this time and can be accessed at State run Hubs, GPs, and participating Pharmacies.

You may also access https://www.whittlesea.vic.gov.au/health-safety/immunisation/public-immunisation-sessions/ for further information on booking outside of the College for school based scheduled immunisations.

The City of Whittlesea Immunisation Team can be contacted on 9217 2276.
