PRINCIPAL’S
ART PRIZE 2022
The Principal’s Art Prize is an annual art exhibition held at St Monica’s College.
An extensive range of work across all year levels is exhibited in the Prize, demonstrating the vast creative talents of the students of St Monica’s College. Students’ achievements in Art, Design and Media are acknowledged with an exhibition and awards.
The 2022 Principal’s Art Prize will be judged by Ms Alicia Grasso, an alumna of St Monica’s College. Ms Grasso successfully completed a bachelor and honours degree in fashion design at RMIT University, Melbourne. In Alicia’s final graduating year of 2021, she completed a major project and research dissertation with respect to contemporary Indigenous Australian art.
With critical reflection, Alicia was able to examine suitable methods for cross–cultural exchange and potential improvement and visibility of reconciliation processes in design practices.
Mr Brian Hanley OAM will select the winner of the Principal’s Choice Award.
